Showcasing Our Impact in Renewable Energy

At Munich Green Projects, we manage complex, mission-critical projects that support the energy transition across Germany and Europe. Below are examples of our completed work, showcasing our capabilities in solar, wind, and energy storage systems.

Freising Solar Farm – Bavaria

We completed the full lifecycle management of a 35 MW utility-scale solar farm located near Freising, Bavaria. The system now powers over 6,000 homes annually and contributes significantly to the region’s decarbonization goals. Our team managed every stage from site acquisition and feasibility analysis to environmental permitting, EPC contractor coordination, and grid integration. We also led the financial modeling, quality assurance, and final commissioning process. The project created local employment during construction and was delivered on time, fully integrated into the regional grid infrastructure.

Impact

Wind Energy Park Schleswig Holstein

This mid-sized onshore wind energy project, commissioned in 2023, involved the installation of multiple turbines in the high-wind region of Schleswig-Holstein. With an output of 18 MW, the park supplies renewable power to over 4,000 homes. Munich Green Projects managed wind resource assessments, environmental impact studies, and permitting with both federal and state agencies. We facilitated landowner negotiations, community engagement, and full construction coordination from civil works and foundation construction to grid connection. Our leadership helped ensure community alignment, regulatory compliance, and an early commissioning milestone.

Impact

Battery Storage Facility Munich

To enhance energy stability in the growing Munich metropolitan area, we supported the development of a 20 MWh grid-scale battery storage facility, commissioned in 2025. This utility-grade system provides peak shaving, load balancing, and short-term backup to the local grid. Our responsibilities included technical consulting, system design validation, and vendor procurement. We also managed compliance with VDE and IEC standards for energy storage safety, oversaw the construction timeline, and ensured seamless integration with local distribution infrastructure. The facility now plays a key role in improving grid flexibility and resilience in the region.
